CURRENTLY COVETING | September

As last week marked the beginning of Autumn, what better reason to start thinking about new wardrobe/dressing table additions than a change of season as inspiration..

Currently coveting #1

ACCESSORIES

I've been obsessed with this Missoma necklace ever since the Lucy Williams collaboration was released. It's now all over my Instagram which isn't helping the temptation and seems to go with just about every outfit. Another slightly unnecessary thing to be wanting after just investing in my first pair of Ray Ban's but these Celine sunglasses are just too great not to include. Sunglasses are definitely my biggest weakness and they look just as great paired with a coat and scarf in September as they do with beachwear in Summer.

Every autumn, I rediscover my love for leopard print and it takes me back to my dodgy former fashion sense as a teen, but this Leopard print belt is subtle enough to wear in the daytime without being overly garish. I am also still not over midi rings, like these from the Z for Accessorize range are so dainty and understated. Zara Simon jewellery can do no wrong in my eyes.

Gold Mini Fang Necklace | Missoma £105

Audrey Black Wayfarer-Style Sunglasses | Celine at Harvey Nichols £229

Leopard Print Pony Hair Belt | Topshop £22

Love Knot Midi Ring Set | Z for Accessorize £15

CLOTHES

I find coats so hard to choose, struggling between the balance of plain enough to go with everything but interesting enough that it isn't the same old coat every year. This Topshop duster/woolen coat hybrid ticks all the boxes for both autumn and winter and looks like something I want to be wrapped in for the next three months. The subtle injection of colour is also a happy addition to an extremely monochrome wardrobe. I've been after these White Company cashmere socks for at least a year but I still haven't been able to justify a £35 spend on something that will inevitably get lost in the wash. They are guaranteed to make the colder evenings way more bearable though so perhaps one for the ever-growing Christmas list. Lastly, as a total convert of mom fit jeans, this pair from Zara (their TRF) range has a Levi-esque vibe to them but at a fraction of the price. I find the ankle-grazer length really flattering and I'd get so much wear out of them.

Dark Check Wool Mix Duster | Topshop £78

Cashmere Bed Socks | The White Company £35

Mom Fit Jeans | Zara £25.99

SHOES

Loafers are currently on everyone's autumn wishlist and Mango's offering are undeniably one of the best on the high street (they are gorgeous). Mango have really hit the nail on the head with accessories this year and I'm only just starting to let go of my applique sandals so this seems like the natural transition.

Applique Leather Loafers | Mango £59.99

BEAUTY

The Laura Mercier illuminator is another item I definitely don't need but it is just looks beautiful and highlighters up there in my favourite pieces of make-up to buy. Another product that has perhaps swayed me by it's appearance is this Diptyque room spray; one of the brands new releases (I've tried their Body Polish and can't fault it). Woody, leathery but sweet, I can imagine this smells exactly how you'd want a room to smell.. especially if it is anything like their candle scents.

Laura Mercier Face Illuminator in Addiction | John Lewis £32

Ambre Room Spray | Diptyque at Space NK £32
